Rondo's foul was way too hard

Rajon Rondo's foul is last nights game between the celtics and bulls was so ridiculous. Brad Miller was going in for a last second lay-up and out of nowhere Rondo basically slaps Miller hard and causes his nose to bleed. There is no reason for that. Rondo tried to make the excuse of how big miller is. And in the post game interview Doc Rivers was like it was a good foul. Now call me crazy- and i am because i usually will root for the celtics. but i think that this is crazy. Please someone tell me they saw the blood drawn from millers face. Now I am not talkin about calling playoff games differently but Call the entire game the same way. In baseball the umpire should call the strikezone the same all game. But tomorrow if he wants to open it up a bit then i am cool with that. But what it goes back too is if the foul is on the face and draws blood it should be a technical. I
In hockey its 4:00 its the right call. Blood is Blood. A persons body doesnt need to be hurt or damaged, because in the end it is a game. I know they make millions, but no need to foul like that. Please someone point out to me in the sequence of events where that was a good foul. I know in that situation that a hard foul was needed but Rondo was so far away from miller and it was basically after he had released it.
But Doc Rivers i know you wanna back your players up but that was ridiculous. Next time Paul Pierce gets tripped on the baseline, don't get mad just take it in like Vinny Del Negro did. I do believe that in some way within the first 5 minutes of the next game the Bulls will do something back. But after that its too far into the game that is pivital and pointless. So we shall see who steps up in this battle.
